Vocabulary

Population- information gathered about a particular group, the group is called the population.

Sample- the study of part of the population.

Random Sample- members of the population selected to study for no particular reason.

Convenience Sample- members of the population that are readily available, easy to get to.

Biased Sample- not a fair representation of the entire population.
